usage is free of licensing in the European Union.
is compatible in the ISM wireless bands at 2.45 GHz.
requires no exclusive usage of frequencies or channels.
utilises IEEE 802.15.4aCSS 2.45 GHz modulation conceptwireless systems.
requires no exclusive usage of frequencies.
complies with standardisation of IEEE and ISO.
prefers standardised solutions.
starts on the basis of a set of common and mandatory prerequisites: All subscribed shall wear a HopLoc® transponder. All objects of interest for locating shall be tagged with a simple HopLoc® transponder.
does not require any labelling or tagging of objects in addition to existent identification per instance for any indirect locating via the carriage that moves the object. Hence the identification of the object of interest must be captured directly.
works on the basis that transponders get read under visibility conditions for the required quantity of resident transponders according to ambiguity-free needs.
concept goes far beyond index locating as with fixed RFID reader positions. This requires real time tracking and recommends coincident tracking for consistency under inevitable ambient noise conditions.
primarily serves for locating on the move and under roofing. Location information is obtained from repetitive locating. may be applied for locating of handheld readers for optical codes an for RFID tags.
implementation may be matched with directly related sequences of video records at choke points. That enables the segregation of staff and visitors. Video recording at resident work positions is generally not supported.
makes the most of physics and logics with wireless locating at minimum effort just from existing standards, tools and a minimum of resident infrastructures.
may be combined with inertial sensors and with other vehicle based sensors and with other wireless systems for vehicles (WVAN) or for staff (WPAN).
makes no assumptions on operational conditions but just takes the physical restrictions and the technology limits for adequate speed into account.
in addition to scanning and detecting infers the results of the applied technologies to one comprehensive access for internal transfers, transportation, forwarding and shipment control regime.
